Baby Clinic (0 – 5 years)
Wednesday 2.00pm - 3.00pm for general advice, immunisations and developmental checks. Only well babies and children are advised to attend. The last baby to arrive by 3.00pm.
We provide shared antenatal and postnatal care for our patients. Community midwives from Lewisham and Guys hospital are also based in the Health Centre.
The Practice Nurse runs a screening programme. The test is important for women between the age of 20 and 64 years to have a smear test every three to five years depending on their age group.
Doctors and nurses are available for Family Planning services during normal surgery hours. Please make an appointment in the normal way. We provide a coil fitting service as well.
Flu (1 year) and Pneumonia (3 years) Vaccinations
We strongly recommend flu jabs and pneumonia vaccines for our patients over 65 years and with the following medical conditions: Asthma, Diabetes, Heart, Lung and Renal Disease, Sickle cell, people with low immunity. The doctors/Nurse can advice you if this injection would be appropriate for you.
Blood Test (Phlebotomy)
The Waldron Health Centre provides a walk-in and appointment service for blood samples. Please ask at the main reception at the ground floor in person or telephone on 0203 049 3400.
